Oyaide FTVS-510 Coaxial 75Ohm BNC Digital Audio Cable 5N Pure Silver
Oyaide FTVS-510 Coaxial 75Ohm BNC Digital Audio Cable 5N Pure Silver
Oyaide FTVS-510 is a premium coaxial 75 Ω BNC digital audio cable, developed for precise and stable transmission of S/PDIF and Word Clock signals. It is intended for audiophile and studio systems where low jitter and accurate impedance are critical.
- Type: Coaxial digital cable, 75 Ω (BNC-BNC)
- Conductor: 5N (99.999%) pure silver, solid-core
- Dielectric: High quality fluoropolymer (PFA/FEP) for low dielectric absorption
- Shield: Multi-layer shield (foil + braid) for high EMI/RFI resistance
- Connectors: Precision 75 Ω BNC, Oyaide; contact material of high conductive quality with noble finish
- Geometry: Coaxial with controlled impedance; low parasitic capacitance/inductance
- Bandwidth: Wideband feature for high-frequency digital protocols (S/PDIF up to 24-bit/192 kHz and Word Clock)
- Mechanical properties: Flexible sheath; recommended minimum bend radius ≥ 5× diameter
Sound characteristics
As a digital transmitter, the FTVS-510 is engineered for a linear, neutral delivery with no tonal drift. In practice, it brings clean pulse edges, stable time domain and reduced jitter, which subjectively can be heard as better micro-dynamics, more precise focus of the scene and clearer separation of instruments, without adding "color".
Compatibility and application
Ideal for connecting CD/SACD transports, network players and DACs with a 75 Ω BNC S/PDIF interface, as well as for Word Clock connections between the master clock and the converter/interface. With the appropriate RCA-BNC adapter, it can also be used with S/PDIF devices that have RCA coaxial connectors.
Condition and maintenance
Used, excellent condition: connectors mechanically sound and clean, cable without insulation damage. There are no modifications or service interventions. It is recommended to periodically clean the contacts and avoid sharp bending for long-term performance stability.
