Return and Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping at polovnihifi.com. Your satisfaction is important to us, but due to the nature of our offer — used hi-fi equipment — returns and refunds are regulated as follows:

1. General Terms

  • All items are sold as seen, with descriptions and photos that accurately represent the condition of the device.
  • The buyer is responsible for reviewing all technical details and the condition of the device before purchase.
  • As these are used items, we do not guarantee a manufacturer's warranty unless otherwise stated in the product description.

2. Right to Return

  • Returns are allowed only if the product significantly differs from its description or is defective, and this was not clearly stated at the time of purchase.
  • The deadline for initiating a return is up to 30 days from the date of delivery, in accordance with Shopify policies.
  • The buyer must inform us of the issue via email at info@polovnihifi.com, including a detailed description and photos of the problem.

3. Inspection Process and Decision

  • After receiving the complaint, the product may be returned for expert inspection (at the buyer’s expense).
  • If it is determined that the device is indeed defective and this was not disclosed, the buyer will be offered:
    • A replacement with another product of the same or similar value (if available), or
    • A refund minus shipping and transaction costs.

4. Situations Where Returns Are Not Accepted

  • If the defect occurred due to improper use, mishandling, or during transport after the buyer took possession.
  • If the buyer unilaterally withdraws from the purchase without a valid reason (e.g. "not what I expected").
  • If the device was subsequently opened, repaired, or modified without our knowledge.

5. Special Notes

  • For devices sold under the label "not working", "for parts" or "as-is in photos without warranty", there is no right to return or refund.
  • Return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility, unless otherwise agreed.
  • Refunds are issued only via the original payment method used for the purchase, within 7 business days after the claim is accepted.
